I was 44 when an annual visit to the mammography van revealed a Stage 1 breast cancer tumor. I had two young boys and a husband to raise so I began to fight!

Five surgeries and a year and a half of chemo later I am back to riding high thrill rides and coasters. Thanks to the support of Komen and the American Cancer Society, my journey was an uplifting experience as help came in many forms. Early detection is the key to reclaiming your health! Take every opportunity of available screenings!
